Project RAW (Read and Win) is a 4-part project with the main aim to instill the love of reading among children in schools. It is a very important component in providing quality education among children, one of the UNSDGs.
The first part is an early morning exercise through dance for the children to be energetic and lively for the next activities.
After the zumba, the children were divided into groups and participated in a Read-a-thon wherein they get to read and show their skills in reading through fun games.
The 3rd part of the project was the distribution of health kits and a feeding activity.
Lastly and the most important part of the project is the turn-over of books to the school to be used to teach reading to students.
With the success of the project, it is the aim of the chapter to bring this to more schools not only in Cagayan de Oro but beyond.
